My photographic work is a profound visual exploration of the alchemical process—a concept that is as much philosophical as it is symbolic. I seek to transcend the mere depiction of the human form and elevate it into a space where beauty, spirituality, philosophy, and visual poetry converge.
To appreciate the depth of my artistry, it helps to understand my own journey, which mirrors the transformations central to my work. I was trained as a chemist, but I abandoned the rigidity of the laboratory for the boundless possibilities of the lens, embodying the very principle of transmutation that fuels my creative endeavors. My art is as much about transformation as it is about revelation, presenting the human form as a site of beauty, power, and transcendence.
I have used many technical approaches in my craft, from advanced photographic chemistry in the classical darkrooms, the editing capabilities of Photoshop and other digital maging programs and now exploring the extension to which AI and Generative systems will help me explore deeper meanings and languages to manifest the visual alchemy of the human body.
I am currently updating my On-Chain presence with my involvement in Transient Lab as my main platform, which will host several new, unninted Series coming up. Stay tuned!!
